Electrical Split Body Bin Lift for rear loading RCVs with split compartments

The Ecoprocess ISBJÖRN SPLIT-BODY was designed in compliance with the same safety standards as the Ecoprocess ISBJÖRN electric bin lift:
• Designed to prevent any crushing and injury hazards
• Obstacle detectors and emergency stop facilities
• Controlled power of lifting and lowering

The ISBJÖRN SPLIT-BODY, in common with all Ecoprocess bin lifts, is 100% electrically powered.  It is an extremely quiet 45dB in operation, and are therefore much less fatiguing for collection workers.  The vehicle’s engine operates at idle during bin lift operation, thereby keeping noise and fuel consumption to a minimum, while significantly lowering exhaust emissions.

The reduced engine speed, together with intelligent compaction management available with the lift can save further fuel. The modularity offered by the ÍSBJÖRN concept allows fast switching of chairs between ISBJÖRN bin lifts and ISBJÖRN SPLIT-BODY bin lifts.

Cleanliness, environment, maintenance

The bin lift and the jack for left-right positioning are electric. The SPLIT-BODY is particularly compatible with truck running on alternative fuel powers (electric or natural gas vehicles).

An electric motor, guaranteed for continuous loaded operation up to 16,000 hours without maintenance (electrical via gearbox), replaces the conventional hydraulic power.  The heavy-duty lift chain, rated at up to 3.5 tons capacity, ensures safety and makes the lift robust. The bin lift has a built-in modem that allows remote diagnosis and maintenance, simplifying maintenance operations.

Technical description
The ÍSBJÖRN SPLIT-BODY lift is designed for the collection of two-wheeled bins from 80 to 360 litters (as certified by standard EN 840-1), and for four-wheeled containers from 500 to 770 litters (as certified according to standard EN 840-2 with top edge comb grip).

MAXIMUM SAFETY
The Bin-Lift is certified by the CE mark and complies with safety standards EN 1501-1 and EN 1501-2

2. Each bin lift comb is equipped with an optical sensor which recognizes the presence of the bin, and two pressure sensors confirming capture of the bin.
